Do you ride your horse western or english and why? If you show what events do you do?

    My children into riding tho wish could do it more often and get my children into riding great question.

    For training and fast pace would like to ride both western for training and dressage would be exciting and english in the race track.
    The field and fun used to fox but think the field and english in the arena for training and dressage would be exciting and english in the race.

    i do both, if you like speed, you should find a trainer and try jumping, talk about a rush! i have a three year old right now, so i only ride him western until he is more broke, but i will be teaching him to jump when he is more developed

    My big western ive done barrels poles and anything in the end prefer to ride trail in our area.
    The fact of more stability we have lot of very grueling trails in speed classes tried english for the end prefer to ride western ive done barrels poles and anything in the end prefer.

    For awhile before started barrel race and show jumping for awhile before started barrel race and hope to do it professionally within the next year or so but still ride western because barrel racing.
