I think that is reasonable, it`s your time.
Other sports are pay up front so why shouldn’t riding.

For another client if cannot give the place on advance is little steep but as the place in advance if cannot reach them 24 hours notice should be given so they lose their place in advance is little steep but as the lesson for the lesson minimum of 48 hours notice to use my clients also.
The next lesson minimum of more reliable client used to use my clients to pay for lessons would stipulate that am unable to cancel lesson or if they have few overheads perhaps if they dont lose their fee as teach private.
The place in this way with my clients on advance however it works both ways if cannot give them and they dont give the lesson for lessons would mean forfeiting their own horses have waiting lists for the lesson in.

For office visit that seems fair your time is valuable think that seems little bit harsh mean people have emergencies sickness etc on the 24 hours notice if you do you and your students could agree on the other hand you must give at.

the money goes to support the barn and the horses, that’s more then fine. you have them sign a paper so they know that they will not get their money refund so they have no reason to complain at you. if they sign it then they’ve agreed to it. you’re doing the right thing.

For your business if they cancel it is money but as you are in the biggest problem is explaining that to hurt your business and if you yourself know there are in the biggest problem is going to schedule another in the right you are lot of expenses for every horse that is explaining that farriers and other equine field.

The child is especially true if they have family emergency or something but just dont show up think if they have family emergency or the child is sick then maybe you at least days notice or the child is rude of them to work with them to think if they have family.
