I would take lessons quite a while before getting your horse, i think it’s a great question that you asked. Or you could two or three lessons on a horse that you like, then go back to regular lessons then do the same thing so that u get used to different horses.

you should get a horse after lessons. horses are very intelligent creatures and they can be huge push overs if you aren’t careful. you should not get one not knowing anything because if he ever tries to get away with something and succeeds he will continue if you dont correct him then. Well if you dont know how to correct him he could possibly continue to get worse and then you have a horse that doesnt do what you want and no clue how to fix the problem. Plus, if you dont like it you have waisted a lot of money on this horse and you have to find him a good home.
