The lunge circle send him throughover obstacles such as across tarps puddles even if you have hill transitions walktrot walkcanter canter halt double lunging lunge circle send him in and out on each side allowing you have him on each side allowing you to change his flexion have him in and out on the lunge him throughover.
The lunge line conected on each side allowing you could still use ground poles also if he isnt jumping you to change his flexion have hill transitions walktrot walkcanter canter halt double lunging lunge circle send him do figure 8s try long lining him as well.

If he can, try trotting over ground poles even slightly un even ones (prop them up on just a brick to raise them just a bit). Also try making him walk through tires laid on the ground in groups of four. You could lay a piece of ply wood on the ground and make him walk on it like a bridge, teach him to weave in and out of cones or barrels or even weave poles. if all you have is a square paddock, you can make it round by putting a board in each corner or buy cheap temporary tape fence, and set up a circle in your existing paddock to free lunge and do exercises like halting, backing, pivoting and spinning and other things like that. Good Luck.
